Touch-up Service
The touch-up service is available for those small scale scruffs and scratches, and in 50% of the cases the works will be completed within the day.The touch up service involves breaking the rim/tyre bead and carrying out a localised repair to the damaged area on the face only. We endeavour to match the wheel colour and fade out the lacquer as best as possible, but to a close up well trained eye the repair may be visible.
General touch-up work can be categorised as follows:
- Small scale kerb damage
- Stone chip damage
- Pot hole damage
The 24 hour service is tailor made to the trade sector. The wheels are dropped off by the customer or picked up by MSS before 10.30am in the morning, and in most cases we endeavour to have the wheels ready for collection or dropped off by 10.30am the morning after (not including Saturday and Sundays).
The 24 hour service involves breaking of the rim/tyre bead (no tyre removal) and painting works will be carried out on the face of the wheel only. Either touch-up or full face painting will be used depending on damage or condition of wheel. In some circumstances if the wheel is too badly damage or corroded the 24 hour service will not be possible.
As described with the touch-up service we endeavour to match the wheel colour and fade out the lacquer as best as possible, but to a close up well trained eye the repair or new paint finish may be visible.
