alloy wheel refurbishment Leeds

Delivery / Collection of wheel

Consists of the customer dropping off either just the wheels or the whole car (on/off service), or MSS coming out and collecting the wheels.

Types of Service available
  1. Full Refurbishment and refinishing in a powder coat finish
  2. Full Refurbishment and refinishing in a wet coat finish
  3. Touch-Up service for those small scruffs etc
  4. 24hr Turn around service - wet spray finish on face of wheel only
Booking in the Wheel and choice of Finish
For services 1 and 2 above the customer must choose the desired colour and finish from our display range and discussions with qualified staff. Full documentation of wheel, customer, colour etc is recorded, job is given a number for identification and the wheel is tagged up accordingly. Job sheet document is signed and duplicated for customer.

For services 3 and 4 we will endeavour to match the existing colour wherever possible, or a full change of colour is available on service 4, but we would recommend full colour and finish changes be dealt with under services 1 or 2.

Removal of tyre, weights and valve
For service 1 and 2 the wheel must be completely stripped back to the bare rim before work can commence, this includes tyre, valve and weights removal if required

For service 3 and 4 the bead between rim and tyre is broken and pushed back. No tyre removal, new valve or re-balancing is carried out.

Notes
On/Off service and wheel collection must be pre-booked in advance; MSS only collect wheels that are easily accessible and within a radius of 10miles.

On back of the duplicated job sheet is a list of MSS terms and conditions for each job. These are strictly adhered to and we recommend all customers read them.

All valves and weights removed are discarded, if steel weights are removed then rubber ones will be re-inserted unless the customer supplies new.

Removed valves are never re-used; we always re-fit new rubber valves unless agreed in advance. If tyres are removed then these are marked up and refitted the same way as taken off.
