Candy, Pearls, Chrome & Fluorescent

Candy Colours (Powder and Wet)
Candy Lacquers in both Powder and Wet are applied over our silvers and chrome basecoats to give an electric finish. They can be applied over colours to produce other effects, but they are generally considered best over flat silver or chrome. We currently provide candies in the following ranges:

Powders Lacquers	- Red, Blue, Green, Pink, Orange and Purple
Wet Lacquers	- Red, Cherry Red, Gold, Green, Yellow, Blue and Magenta

Pearls (Powder and Wet)
Very similar to Candy Colours but give a much deeper depth of colour, can give a brilliant colour changing effect in certain light, and can be applied over any basecoat colour. In terms of powder coating they are more than usual applied over a white basecoat. There are a range of pearl effects on offer but MSS currently offer:

Powder Pearls	- Biege, Violet, Pink, Copper, Green, Blue
Wet Pearls	- Silver, Red, Blue, Copper, Orange and Gold

Chrome (Powder)
MSS have tested every chrome powder coating available and have worked closely with a manufacturer to develop what we believe to be the closest and best chrome powder coat finish available. This two coat system can be used on all steel, aluminium and cast substrate, and we use it under our candy lacquers and pearls to achieve custom effects.

Please note when applying our chrome effect powder coat, the finish product can only be as good as the original substrate allows, i.e. badly corroded or weathered substrates will not achieve as good a finish as a new piece of the same substrate.
