Two-Tone, Fade-Out and Spangle/Snowflake Lacquer & Metal Flakes

Two-Tone (Powder)
This is the art of producing colour changing effects from different angles. The powder transition effect is a soft flowing transition from one colour to the next, and is currently available in the following ranges:

Fantasy - An iridescent effect of Lilac, Green and Blue tone colours
Fire - An iridescent effect of Turquoise, Silver and Red tone colours
Lapis Light - An iridescent effect of a Green to Turquoise to Blue
Mystical - An iridescent effect of Bronze, Red and Gold tone colours
Tropical - An iridescent effect of Green, Red and Gold tone colours

Fade-Out (Powder)
Can be achieved with any multiple of colours (depending on the item being coated) but is general carried out using two or three base colours, and involves the fading out of one into the other. Once the desired effects are achieved the finish can be further customised with a candy or spangle lacquer.

Spangle/Snowflake Lacquer (Powder)
Clear polyester powder coat lacquer with a sparkle additive to give a spangle/snowflake/glitter effect. These can be used over any base powder coat, but some work better than others, i.e. gloss black is poor but semi-gloss or Matt black gives a nice night time sparkle appearance. Generally works well over Red, Matt/Semi Gloss Black, Blue and our chrome.

Metal Flakes (Wet) or Star Powders (Powder)
Metal Flakes are used in wet coating lacquers, they come in a huge range of choices and are mixed with the lacquer and applied over a desired base coat. Due to the huge choice of Flake additives available across the Metal Flake, Prism Metal Flake and Holographic Metal Flake ranges, we recommend the customer chooses and purchases their metal flake individually, and brings to us for coating. Star Powders are applied mainly over Black Base Primers and are available in Gold, Lilac, Emerald, Red and Saphire.
